Kindergarten Connections

Welcome to the MCISD Kindergarten Web Page!

 Madisonville Elementary is committed to providing

the best instruction, instructional programs, and materials possible. 

Each student is given every chance to succeed. 

Because of the emphasis placed on Reading and Math by

State and Federal mandates, Kindergarten is now considered

an academic year; not just a year to "get ready". 

Students in Kindergarten are now expected to enter

First Grade reading and writing,

adding and subtracting!

In addition to all the learning going on in our classrooms,

Kindergarten students participate in following activities:

Library, Computer Lab, Science Lab, Art, PE, and Music.

  Please check with your student's teacher if you have any questions

regarding schedules.
